It retains it's original label. This belonged to my Dad and his name is on the label. Wireless Operator/Air Gunner 1467807 who flew Sunderland Flying Boats and later Catalinas when posted to SE Asia Commanded in 1945. He was mentioned in Dispatches for bravery in action.

The suit has been a part of our family history since I was a child and I used to wear the cosy suit (as we couldn't afford a sleeping bag) when on Scout camp in the late 50's. It has been carefully stored in a dry box and shows no sign of mould or damp and all the zips are working. There is a faint white stain on the right breast (see photo) and a 6 right ankle tear repaired with fabric glue.
