This specifically outlines a loss of a THREE German Me109's and a ONE Fw190 at the hands of Flight Lieutenant Antoni Cholajda (316 Polish Squadron) on August 14, 1944. Made of lightweight paper, this British Combat Report is in EXCELLENT used condition! Dated August 14, 1944, it discusses the loss of FOUR German aircraft, at the height of 8000 feet. These aircraft being 3 Me109's and a Fw190. Flying a Mustang MK III, he describes.
A meeting of enemy formation and diving upon an He-113 or Me109 and sending it down in flames, then pursuing an Me-109 to near ground level before shooting-up the cockpit and sending the aircraft to the ground. His wingman substantiates much of his squadron leader's account of the events, then describes his pursuit of an He-113 or Me-109 which he chases. He sees he himself is about to be attacked, so he lets go a burst at his target, sees the pilot bale out, the engine catch fire, and the plane crash.
Each pilot has signed at the conclusion of his account. Sadly, his wingman was KIA with 316 Squadron on March. 1, 1945, while Cholajda would survive the war. A SUPERB piece of history, it would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage.Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc. , as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. Use is solely based on my authorization only.
