As found at a Virginia estate sale. This rare book: Polo The Lonsdale Library Volume XXI. The Earl of Kimberley Editor, Brig. Beresford, Major General Geoffrey Brooke, LT. Gannon, Marco Brigadier General R. The old photos in this book are fabulous. The dust jacket shows wear, please see photos. I could not find a publishing date but there is an inscription on the first page dated 1943. The first interior photo is of H.

The King playing a near side forehand shot.. The pages are heavy thick paper. The dust jacket appears to be linen like paper. There are 343 pages, including an index.

On the bottom of page 343. R & R Clark, Limited, Printers, Edinburgh, 1936. This is a gorgeous old book. I wanted the hunting book but have little interest in polo. Just lovely & beautifully made.
