Very Rare Mid-1930s Romanian Air Force Observer Badge in Original Case. ARTIFACT: This is a very rare Romanian Air force observer badge in its original case. The badge is a pair of spread wings with a crown at top and two back-to-back interlocking capital Cs at center, for King Carol.

SIZE: Badge: 1-7/8" height and 1-3/8" width; case is 7/8" high, 2-1/2" wide and 3-1/16 deep. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Badge: silver-plated bronze; case: silk-lined with velvet inset. ATTACHMENT: Clip on badge; hinged case with decorative brass clasp.

CAZARMEI 15; case: bottom of case has original foil label (VARGA A CRARI DRAGUL JAR NOVISAD). ITEM NOTES: This is from a pre-WWII foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows light to medium wear and tarnish and case is well-worn but overall items are in very fine shape. GUARANTEE: As with all my items, this piece is guaranteed original.
