Rare WWI Original Webley & Scott British Army Dummy Training Rifle Model 1915
Scarce WWI Model 1915 Dummy Training Rifle. It was constructed as a rifle with stock and barrel and cup steel buttplate for training of British Troops. Stock is stamped, "WEBLEY & SCOTT, LONDON BIRMINGHAM". This also has the British forward broad arrow and 1915 stamps.
Very good condition markings are mostly visible, some fading to manufacture's markings. Deep patina to the metal surfaces. This measures 45-3/4 long and weighs in at 7.4 lbs. A beautiful piece of English History from WWI.
