British Army Officer Trousers WW2 Era Pattern Made by Edgard & Sons. Incredible pair of original British Army trousers here. These are based on a WW2 Era Pattern but were manufactured in the 1950s by a British Contractor called Edgard & Sons. They come with lots of great details including a single pleat front, side adjusters, belt loops and interior brace buttons. Four button fly and a tab style waist.
High waisted, wide leg cut with a gentle taper on the leg. Made from a heavy Olive Drab Wool cloth.
A great example of the build quality from that era. Perfect for a collector or militaria enthusiast, but could also easily be worn by someone who likes military/workwear style. A rare find these days. The waist fits true to size. They have been hemmed with a 28" leg length and have had a 2" turnup added. Waist across: 16.5 / 42cm. Interior leg: 28" / 71cm Front rise: 13" / 33cm. Leg opening: 8 / 20cm.No flaws aside from slight yellowing on the interior pocket bags. Come pressed and ready for a new owner. Please note, I may use various other garments or props as styling tools when photographing items.
