Rare Signed Thomas Webb 2-color English Cameo Art Glass 6.5 Vase, Butterfly
Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a RARE and STUNNING signed 2-color English Cameo Art Glass vase by Thomas Webb & Sons, c. Vase features unusually vivid yellow coloration in the glass overlaid in vibrant deep orange and is decorated with cameo cut blossoms, leaves and the butterfly that is a desired symbol found on many Webb cameo examples. This fabulous vase was made during the period when the finest cameo glass and intaglio carving was produced and is signed with the Webb "Gem Cameo" acid etched stamp on the base. The quality of this piece is the very finest and the delicate and intricate intaglio carving will amaze you!
Measures 6 1/2" high with a maximum width of 4 1/4" and a top diameter of 2. This exceptional vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
