Very rustic edition of Christian Symbolsimbin Great Britain and Ireland. Gilt still visible and mostly in tact on front cover. Stains on bridge and cover. I THINK this is 1st edition, as I can find nothing that says any other version of printing. Inside cover has handwritten names of previous owners, one dating back to 1899. Tucked in the book were newspaper clippings from 1921. The outside of book shows obvious wear, there is a little staining on some pages. Regardless, this is an amazing piece of history.
