Straight from the estate of a well-known military antique collector which includes over 30 helmets and pickelhaubes from pre-WW1 and WW2 era that will be listed on my page in the near future (pictures available upon request). Anything mentioned herein is simply my uneducated opinion. This is a rare time-capsule preserved Frank Bryan Limited Royal Air Force pilot headgear made in 1939 with the matching oxygen mask, communication gear and goggles. The leather is incredibly soft and supple with no tearing and the stitching is in great condition. The headphones are still in the padded ear slots and the cord.
Is still fully intact and in good shape with the cockpit plug. There's a stamp on the inside of the headgear under the label but the first letter is worn off, the rest of it reads.Bateson written on the inside as well. The goggles show age but are still solid with the padding still fully intact. The oxygen tube coming out of the mask has broken off but is still included as seen in the last picture, although it's very brittle. This does not appear to be a reproduction but its authenticity cannot be guaranteed. Stand seen in pictures not included.
