Description: Allegorical print, Pitt the Elder standing at top of a pyramidal design with his arm around the shoulder of commerce at left, represented by a young woman with compass in hand, a woman representing the city of London at right, reaching up to them with shield and staff beside her; children around a large cornucopia below, at the foot of which Britannia sits with. Print made by: Francis Jukes. Published by: Laurie & Whittle. Inscription content: Lettered below image with description, production detail: Elizth. " and publication line: "Published by Laurie & Whittle, 53 Fleet Street, London"; within image pn plaque above Pitt: "Great Britain at its Zenith and in Glory 1762, and on scroll at right with note on the painting (the portrait taken from Pitt's monument in the Guildhall), dedicated to his memory by the artist and dated 1782.
