Rare Enfield No7 bayonet for No4

  

It is marked "No7Mk1/L, " on one side, and on the other, it is marked M/78 with a "broad arrow" acceptance mark. M/78 was the wartime code for Elkington & Co, Ltd. Swivel turns freely and locks solidly on the end of a No4 barrel. Both grips are marked "england, " and are in very good shape.

The blade is shiny and free of any rust or corrosion. The black paint in the pommel is chipped and flaking. Other than that, it is in very good shape. Cleaning out some of my extras, so here is a chance to own a relatively rare bayonet.
