RARE Crown Merton Rodney Peppe MCM 1970 Vintage Metal Tiger serving Tray. The tray measures 11.5" across and 1.5" deep. The front is a cream color featuring a sweet, happy tiger with leaves. The back of the tray is Pepto Bismol Pink. There are a few surface scratches from age, but do not detract from the beloved and retro image.

This tiger is an illustration of well known MCM children's book by Peppe, Made in Great Britain. Mr Peppe, born in 1934, has enjoyed a career as a freelance writer and illustrator of children's books since the mid 1960s and is still living in England.
