RARE Antique Georgian Era Turquoise and Moonstone Locket from Erica Weiner NYC

  

This locket is circa 1820 and is comprised of a moonstone center with turquoise stone surround. The color on the turquoise is varied with age and just beautiful. The locket measures about a 1/2 wide.

The locket includes a 18 14KT gold chain (also from Erica Weiner). The necklace is stamped 14KT. I believe the locket was a low karat gold (9-10Kt).

The necklace includes the Erica Weiner presentation gift box, perfect for Christmas! Things to note: this precious piece is over 200 years old! As such there may be minor scratches and nicks under magnification. This is really unavoidable in true antiques of this age. Please review all of the photos as they are part of the item description. The locket opens and closes well. These typically had woven hair or some other sentimental thing in them. Ready for you to add your own!
