A Most Excellent Order of the British Empire; Knight Grand Cross (GBE). This Order has never been brought to market before; it is a direct estate offer. In excellent condition, with no loss or chips to the enamel. Gilt, with red enamelled insignia affixed onto the enamelled cross. 71mm x 93mm inclusive of its crown suspension.

Gilt, with red enamelled insignia affixed to the star base. Complete with the original hard-shelled leather case, marked G. E", and maker marked "Gerrard & Co. The "push-button" locking mechanism on the case appears to not work, although the case stays closed.

Velvet lined interior with slotted medal bed. Case is in very fine condition.
