Obverse: Georgius IIII D: G: / Britanniarum Rex F: D: with bust of King George IV Neck of Bust marked with BAIN. Bottom of obverse marked "KS DIRECT". The medal has a hole at top center. Reverse: Scotia kneeling, presenting crown to the king, " Regis Scotiani Scoticique Arcem Regni Visentis AUG MDCCCXXII / F&S Eden".
