RAF 1952 pattern Flying /escape Boots Rare Size 11 L. The inside label is still readable, 22c refers to RAF uniform and the rest identifies the exact style and size, in this case 11L. These are post war based on the 1943 pattern boots. The idea was that should the airman be shot down in enemy territory, he could cut the top of the boot off to leave a pair of standard looking shoes, the earlier boots came with a small knife but Im not sure these ones ever did.
These look like they have been resoled at some point, probably later used for gardening or something! In good, supple condition but could do with a proper scrub down and polish. The laces look original too.
