As the fledgling state of Israeli began to form, they were desperate for weapons of any kind, but in particular sniper rifles were hard to come by. They scrounged together all they could get, and then a fella named Emanuel Goldberg began producing scopes in Tel Aviv for No4T rifles that were being built. The scopes are based on the excellent No32 English scope, but much more crude! The crosshairs are an excellent example of expediency. The glass used was said to have been made from window panes, because of the unavailability of proper glass.
Incredible piece of history that helped to keep Israel on the world map despite all of her neighbors doing their best to eradicate it!
