Another very rare and early finest quality motor Mascot Hood Ornament from the dispersal of a long term private motoring memorabilia collection. Hollow cast brass construction , still wearing the expensive optional original bronze plated finish , and depicting the famous Bonzo Dog character , created by artist George Studdy in 1922. Original and untouched for decades...... That delightful patina of nearly 100 years of age.

Approximately 3.40 inches 7.8 cms tall, and approximately 5.00 inches (13.50 cms) wide, and still retaining the original brass mounting stud with washers and lock nut. Original and rare, with exquisite attention to detail and finish, and an amusing and totally charming mascot. Simply a superb and a very beautiful example. Totally genuine and original throughout. This highly-impressive vintage automobile mascot retains the original and correct under base fitted threaded mounting stud , with threaded nut, etc.
