This is a rare and perfect antique Nailsea glass whimsy pipe. It is hand blown cranberry and white in the pulled feather design. At 15 to 16 in length it is the largest/longest that I have seen in museums etc. These pieces were made by the glass blowers as whimsical items mainly in the early 1800s and into the Victorian period. The pulled feather design of this one is perfect and very masterfully done.
MUSEUM QUALITY: The condition is absolutely perfect, with no flaws at all. Part of my collection of rare antique and Georgian glass. Size: 15-16" long (see photos) and the bowl is about 2" in diameter at the mouth.
