WWII British Paratrooper Helmet MKII, Dated 1944 - BMB 7 3/4. The netting is original British Para helmet Netting from WWII, worn and ripped which I acquired after I obtained the helmet. A great addition to your airborne collection. I have been collecting militaria for nearly 70 years. I got started with my father and uncles who served in WWII and continued through my own service during Vietnam and afterwards. I will be listing numerous items over the next year or so. I recently underwent open heart surgery. Prior to that surgery, I made an inventory and valuation of most of my collectibles and works or art for my wife and children. After surviving my surgery, I decided to sell or in some cases donate the bulk of my collectibles, with the exception of items I received from my family and my personal items, so as not to unduly burden my wife and children when I die.
