Historical Group of items that could be framed together for Display. The following WWII items belonged to Sgt. Halsall of the Kings Own Royal Regiment and are dated 1944 when he participated in the Chindit expedition behind Japanese Lines.

2 A Japanese Propaganda flyer directed to the Chin population encouraging them to fight the British. Size approx 7 X 6 inches. 3 A Japanese wartime postcard sent home by Halsall where he mentions being behind Japanese lines (which would have been the Second Chindit expedition, 1944, codenamed Operation Thursday).I have added this currency note to this grouping that was not part of J.
