The aged JIGGED BONE on this knife is very nice; no cracks or flaws at all. THIS STYLE WAS USED BY BRITISH MILITARY AND WW1 HORSEMEN (made in Sheffield, England). OLD JIGGED-BONE HANDLES WITH NO CRACKS; NO CHIPS. HORSE-HOOK PICK HAS A NUTCRACKER UNDERNEATH WITH A CUTOUT IN THE FRAME TO HOLD THE NUT. BLADES HAVE ESSENTIALLY FULL BLADES REMAINING.SECONDARY BLADE SNAPS OPEN AND CLOSED; PRIMARY HAS WEAK CLOSING SNAP; NO SNAP OPENING. PINCHED BOLSTERS - OLD-TIMEY STYLE. I have a collection of these stag horseman knives that I will be listing. Primary blade is old-style sheepfoot. Secondary is a spear blade. Blades were used, but look full blades with minor scratches from opening/closing them. Fine example of Sheffield horseman knife (4 total length closed). Harpened and used, but hardly at all; blades full.
Patina and stain on blade and backspring (I did not clean them; been in storage). Handles well-matched front and back; without cracks.
