Spectacular WW1 British Order of the Bath, Military , silver gilt, original post-1911 Garrard & Co case. This example is in superb condition with signs of regular wear, which in my view makes it far more interesting, particularly given that a WW1-era recipient still had to be mentioned in dispatches for valorous combat action, despite being a general officer. The ribbon on this CB Military is particularly interesting, given that it is the highly desirable swivel-ring suspension with integral silver gilt riband buckle. You don't see this nearly as often as the neck order, and it is considered very sought-after.
